While at Olympus, Aaron participated in the:

  • Wrestling Team, Swim Team, Dive Team, Water Polo Team, Track Team, Cross Country Team
  • Aerobics Class, Weight Lifting, Rock Climbing Club
  • Men's Chorus, Concert Choir, Vocal Ensemble 

Accomplishments since high school:

  • Professional Rock Climber 
  • Holds many World Records, World Cups, and Gold Medals in Rock Climbing and Speed Climbing 
  • Unofficially holds the World Record for Speed Pull-ups (37 in 30 seconds!) and did more than 20 1-arm pull ups
  • BS in Business Management and a MPA from BYU
  • Adventurer and Climber of the Grand Teton and the Matterhorn; navigated the Yangtze River in China
  • Wasatch 100 Ultra Marathon Participant
  • Swam 2 miles from Alcatraz to the San Francisco Bay in shark infested waters
  • Married to Morgan McDonald (met in Chemistry Class at Olympus) 4 Children
  • Currently is the Assistant Principal at Lehi Seminary
  • Rock Climbing Coach to many athletes including the Silver Medalist from the Tokyo Olympics 2021 (only American to bring home a podium finish)
